A revenue centre is an area of sales inside one branch, such as the bar, the terrace or takeaway, that is reported separately while sharing the branch’s company, tax registration and books.

Each order is tagged with the revenue centre it was taken in. Reports, kitchen routing and some permissions can then work per area, for example a manager PIN for voids at the bar.

Worth knowing

A revenue centre is not a separate legal entity and does not need its own TRN.
It is different from the sales channel: the channel is how the customer ordered, the revenue centre is where.
Start with one and add more only when you need to report an area on its own.
