UAE e-invoicing deadlines: every date, by business size.
E-invoicing in the UAE starts in phases. Each business has two dates: the day it must appoint an accredited service provider, and the day its e-invoices become mandatory. Which dates apply depends on your annual revenue.

The phases and their dates
The provider deadline for businesses with AED 50 million or more was moved from 31 July 2026 to 30 Oct 2026 by a 2026 amendment. The go-live date did not move.
| Business | Appoint an accredited provider by | E-invoicing mandatory from |
|---|---|---|
| Revenue AED 50 million or more | 30 Oct 2026 | 1 Jan 2027 |
| Revenue under AED 50 million | 31 Mar 2027 | 1 Jul 2027 |
| Government entities | 31 Mar 2027 | 1 Oct 2027 |
What the two dates mean
- Appointment date: by this day you must have signed with a Ministry-accredited service provider (ASP), the company that validates and exchanges your e-invoices.
- Go-live date: from this day, invoices to businesses and government must be issued as structured e-invoices through that provider.
- Leave time between the two: connecting your invoicing system, cleaning customer data and testing usually takes weeks, not days.
What to do now
- Confirm your revenue band and which of the three groups you are in.
- Shortlist accredited providers and appoint one before your appointment date.
- Check that your invoicing software can produce PINT AE e-invoices.
- Clean your data: TRNs on customers and suppliers, VAT categories on items, unbroken invoice numbering.
- Test real invoices through your provider before your go-live date.
